Pompano Beach is a city located just north of Fort Lauderdale, and has been nicknamed “the Heart of the Gold Coast.” Pompano Beach has it all, a three-mile stretch of pristine shoreline, clear blue water and golden sand that sets the stage for countless beach and water activities, including shipwreck scuba diving, snorkeling around the coral reef, boating, surfing, and fishing from the 900-foot-long pier. In addition to boasting some of the warmest and clearest waters, Pompano Beach also offers more than 50 local parks for outdoor recreation and sports activities, and local attractions including the Hillsboro Lighthouse, the amphitheater and plenty of shopping.
