Hourly & Live-In Home Care
To meet the unique care needs of your family member, a home care aide can spend just a few hours or up to a full day with them for as many days per week as is needed. If 24-hour care is required we are able to meet this need in various ways including a full-time live-in caregiver or two twelve hour shifts to provide full coverage. We have the ability to refer caregivers to meet any schedule.

In-Facility Care
Oftentimes staff to patient coverage ratios at care facilities is insufficient to provide the personalized service your family member needs and deserves. Bridgewater Home Care is able to refer a private caregiver dedicated solely to your loved one to fill the gap in care, provide attention and companionship, and serve as a devoted advocate. We can refer in-facility caregivers for any schedule.

Respite Care
We deeply understand the challenges and demands associated with being a primary caregiver for a family member. The complexities of daily life associated with family and career responsibilities, plus personal and social obligations, makes finding time to take care of yourself an overwhelming task. Over time, this can negatively impact your own physical and mental health. Respite care is an excellent solution to address these challenges by providing the primary family caregiver with the opportunity to refresh and recharge and tend to their own life needs while providing the peace of mind that their loved one is well cared for by an experienced caregiver. We can refer caregivers to meet any schedule needed by the family caregiver to give them the proper balance they are seeking as the primary caregiver.

Companionship & Meal Prep
Widely reported in the media is the epidemic of loneliness. According to the US Surgeon General “ Loneliness is far more than a bad feeling-it harms both individual and societal health. It is associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular disease, dementia, stroke, depression, anxiety, and premature death.” To help your loved one avoid loneliness and its negative effects, even a few hours of companion care each week can significantly help preserve their energy and independence. We can refer companion caregivers who provide invaluable support by engaging your loved one in conversation, enjoyable activities, whether walking together or sitting and chatting, preparing nutritious meals, and assisting with other household tasks such as grocery shopping, light cleaning, laundry, and changing bed linens.

Errands & Light Housework
Aging seniors may struggle physically with some of the chores that are a nuisance to all of us, yet still need to be done, including activities of daily living such as: house cleaning, laundry, changing bedding, grocery shopping, and more. Regularly scheduled visits from a caregiver is an effective solution that can help your loved one maintain their independence, and safely stay in their own home.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care
Alzheimer’s and Dementia care is specialized support for seniors who are living with these disorders. We can refer caregivers experienced with these complex circumstances who can help keep your loved one secure and safe at home by providing aid such as medication reminders, wandering prevention, transportation, meal preparation, and more.

Other Care Services
Transitional care provides support to seniors being discharged after a hospital stay. We can refer caregivers who can help your loved one consistently follow their doctor's instructions so they can recuperate and avoid hospital readmission.
